The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce serves the 10-county Middle Tennessee region. The Chamber has developed this site so any employer, large or small, in Middle Tennessee, can use this website at no charge. The WorkIT Advocates are a prestigious group of individuals who love the Nashville region and are passionate about the thriving technology community. WorkIT Advocates will receive updates twice a month about the WorkIT Nashvillecampaign. Each week, we will feature new faces and new stories of technology workers in Middle Tennessee. If you would like to apply to be a feature story, you will need to do two things.  First, complete this questionnaire. Then e-mail your completed questionnaire and a 4×6 photograph of yourself toWorkITNashville@nashvillechamber.com. The WorkIT Nashville partners will review the applicants each month and choose upcoming feature stories.

WorkIT Nashville is a multi-faceted campaign to recruit technology workers to the Nashville region. Three components provide information to those workers and their families about the thriving technology scene here as well as the community and culture.

  • The first component is the WorkIT Nashville Guidebook: A Guide for Recruiting Tech Talent (PDF – Please note this is a large file and may take a few minutes to download.) This guidebook contains information about the Nashville region that helps inform job seekers and companies about the attributes and features of our community.  IT managers throughout the region will use this tool to answer many questions they may receive about our region.
  • The second component is a robust digital marketing strategy using social media and telling the stories of technology workers in our region and their experiences. We have a brand presence on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, andGoogle+.
  • The final component, We Build Tech is through our partnership with the Nashville Technology Council, which will be a job board component with a unique job-matching technology that benefits both job seekers around the world and local companies.
